Outside Interactive, Inc., the world’s leading outdoor-focused tech company, recently launched the Outerverse, an adventure-minded, wellness-driven alternative to the Metaverse. The Outerverse features a platform that enables creators — which could include brands, events, retailers and organizations in the running industry/community — to publish content to very large audiences and directly benefit from the engagement and revenue they drive. It will be a home for the world’s best storytellers and artists to co-create and co-own this new ecosystem. In the months ahead, each of these partners will mint NFT projects on the Outside.io platform with artwork developed from their portfolios, with a portion of the proceeds going to grassroots organizations working on sustainability and DEI.
This session will share ideas, opportunities and best practices for creators in the running industry to engage the Outerverse with unique NFT offerings and incentives all themed on getting more people outside and active.
