Dan has a life-long passion for running, included running cross country and steeplechase at the University of Delaware, working at the Delaware Running Company, coaching high school cross country, and a brief- stint as a professional triathlete. He earned his undergraduate, masters and PhD in the field of biomechanics, where he has published over 15 peer-reviewed articles. Dan currently works as a biomechanics research engineer at Boa Technology in Colorado, developing a biomechanics lab and routine tests for how the uppers of shoes affect biomechanics in many activities. While not at work, he still includes training for marathons and trail races.
