J.T. founded Soul Focus Sports in 2010 to produce running events and represent athletes. As a member of the California Bar he keeps he keeps his law degree close to keep the company out of trouble. Today Soul Focus specializes in brand experiential with clients such as HOKA, Under Armour, Strava, JP Morgan Chase, GoPro, and Nuun just to name a few.

Soul Focus is also the owner of Run Local Events as producers of the San Jose Half Marathon, the Santa Barbara Half, and other local events in California.

J.T. believes the reason they have survived over 12 years and through a pandemic lies in the strength of his people. This Soul Focus team is made up of 20+ creative and event seasoned executioners. They kill it.

When J.T. is not managing that group of misfits he is the father to an 11-month old boy named Jet, running in redwood trails or surfing the waves of Santa Cruz, California. Life is good.
