Jake has been a runner as long as he can remember.  He grew up in Grand Ledge Michigan where there's a recreational summer track program that's been going for over 40 years. Having a love for the sport at such a young age lead him to all-state and all-American honors in high school. He later received a scholarship running for Central Michigan University for middle distance events, where he earned his degree in Retail Management and Entrepreneurship. Upon graduating he took that passion for the sport back to his local running shop, Playmakers. It’s been 15 years now learning from everyone at the store, how to make Playmakers, this community, and this industry better.
