Dr. Robert Conenello is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He has been in private practice at Orangetown Podiatry since 1991. He has served on the Board of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine where he was a Past President.
Dr. Conenello is the former Global Clinical Advisor for Special Olympics International and is the current lead Clinical Director for New Jersey Special Olympics. He has served as the Medical Director for multiple sporting activities with his highlight being the Podiatric Medical Director for Racing the Planet: Sahara Desert Ultra Marathon. He has lectured internationally on topics related to sports medicine and was recently distinguished by the American Podiatric Medical Association for his Keynote Lecture at the 2017 National Conference in Nashville, TN. For the past 10 years, he has served as an Honorary Surgeon for the New York Police Department.
Dr. Conenello is an avid runner and cyclist but his passion is his family. He lives in Ridgewood, NJ with his wife Gail and three very active athletic children Luke, Kyle and Marette.
