Sarah is a PhD candidate at Arizona State University and has been part of the team at Pacers Running for over two and a half years, bringing with her a background in conservation science and environmental advocacy.

In working with the Low Impact Alliance, she sees a way to connect her passion for sustainability with her love of running.

With her dissertation research focused on organizations’ efforts to change the systems that make, use, and dispose of plastic waste, she is particularly interested in finding ways to reduce and manage waste in the run specialty industry.
