As President & Chief Operating Officer of On, Scott Maguire is responsible for running the company’s day-to-day business and translating its strategy into disciplined, scalable execution. Scott oversees On’s full value chain – from R&D, manufacturing, and technology to global commercial and marketing operations – ensuring the company operates as one connected flywheel. Since joining On in 2025, he has been instrumental in strengthening its global innovation and operational backbone, most notably by scaling its revolutionary LightSprayTM technology. He works closely with the Co-Founders to align the company’s strategic vision with its operational core.
Before On, Scott served as CEO of Specialized Bicycle Components, where he led the company through a transformative period focused on innovation and global expansion. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Dyson, culminating in his role as Group Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw engineering, operations and supply chain across the company. He is passionate about developing talent and building an innovative company culture to fuel growth. Scott holds a master’s degree in product design engineering from the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art. In his free time, Scott enjoys running and cycling around his new home of Zurich or playing sports with his wife and two sons.
