Tasha Young was born and raised in Detroit and is a graduate of MSU. She has worked in the run specialty space for over 5 years and is the Community Outreach and DEI Coordinator at Playmakers in Mid-Michigan. While always having a passion for bringing awareness and resources to urban and minority communities through other avenues, she is invested in bringing that representation into the running space, especially through the retail lens. She has found a new joy in running and will be completing her 1st Marathon soon, while enjoying the half marathon distance the most 🙂
