Conference Sessions

The 2022 conference program was thoughtfully designed to provide actionable, relevant education for professionals across multiple levels of experience.

  • Race For The Top (Running USA Deep Dive): A session devoted to the challenges and opportunities facing event management professionals and race directors of all sizes. Attendees of this session accessed a special, dedicated networking coffee break at 9:00 AM.
  • Keynote: Allyson Felix’s keynote presentation, Daring to do Things Differently.
  • Making Good Leaders Great: An overview of proven methods that took attendees from being good leaders to great leaders.
  • Running in the Outerverse: This session shared ideas, opportunities and best practices for creators in the running industry.
  • How to Remove the Barrier and Build a Diverse Community: A discussion about the importance of recognizing the barrier to entry that non-traditional runners face.
  • The Art of the Intangibles: A conversation about the intangibles that make stores and events successful.
  • Conservation Alliance Breakfast Session: A discussion about the organization’s work to support local conservation efforts in Texas.
