Award-winning journalist Danny Smith has been penning stories for Running Insight since 2012 and writing about the retail marketplace since 2004. An accomplished cross country and track athlete at the University of Illinois Chicago, Smith also spent nine years working in a run specialty store and remains an ardent champion of the channel. He has also become a regular on the TRE Education slate, presenting programs at the last five TRE events.
