David is the Founder and President of The Excellence Advisory, a business excellence coaching and consulting firm serving small- and medium-sized organizations and their leaders.

He is widely regarded as a go-to source in helping leaders achieve and sustain business excellence. He believes every leader deserves to run a great business, every employee deserves to work in a great business, and every customer deserves to shop at a great business.

David’s own journey to excellence began in the retail environment stocking shelves and sweeping floors in an Indiana drug store chain. Since then, he has worked with and for some of the world’s leading nonprofit and for-profit organizations including the Washington Nationals and The Savannah Bananas, Pal’s Sudden Service, Texas Instruments, and Siemens. He now shares his knowledge and experience in engineering, marketing, retail, education, and entrepreneurship with his clients and audiences in a way they can immediately apply.

David is an avid runner and among many races has run New York, Chicago, and Boston (twice).
