Harry Chandler: Son, Brother, Uncle, Empath and Co-Owner of Charlotte Running Company.
Harry is a proud graduate of Western Michigan University (Class of 2012) and began his career with Global Orange Development as a Store Development Coordinator. He went on to join Footlocker.com in Sales Forecasting before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he became part of the Charlotte Running Company team.
Since then, Harry has become a passionate voice and advocate for the Charlotte community, especially for those who are underserved and underrepresented. He envisions a future where culture is central to the conversation and true diversity, equity, and inclusion are fully realized.
Harry currently serves as President of the Running Industry Association and chairs the Retail Subcommittee for the Running Industry Diversity Coalition. In July 2024, he was featured in Forbes as an industry expert, championing the critical role of specialty brick-and-mortar retail.
His personal mission is to serve until the run specialty industry reflects full representation—welcoming everyone who seeks to use health, fitness, and leadership as tools for transformation.
