Jackie Hoffman is the Founder and Executive Director of Peace Runners 773, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advocating for health equity by empowering underserved communities with holistic wellness solutions. Through education, providing accessibility and safe spaces for movement, and a focus on physical, mental, and social well-being, Peace Runners 773 addresses critical health disparities.
Born and raised on Chicago’s West Side, Jackie turned his personal weight-loss journey after playing collegiate and professional arena league football into a mission to inspire others, recognizing the link between physical health, mental health, and self-confidence in marginalized communities. Motivated by his mother’s remarkable health transformation through Peace Runners 773, Jackie emphasizes the power of knowledge, motivation, and accountability to create lasting change.
Jackie’s accolades include 2024 Running club president of the year, 2024 Break the Tape Award for Chicago Event Management Race Summit, being a Running USA scholarship recipient, and receiving the WNBA Chicago Sky “Give Them the Crown” Community Award. He is a proud graduate of Bethune-Cookman University. Jackie is an ultimate community builder and health equity subject matter expert, committed to transforming lives and fostering wellness across Chicago.
