My name is Jeff Harris and I, along with my wife Donna own a technical running store in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Opened in 2008, Run With It has a loyal following that naturally comes with 15 successful years in the industry. In 2020 I began playing pickleball which came pretty easily with the experience I had playing years of competitive junior tennis. We began selling pickleball paddles, court shoes and accessories. Pickleball has become a large part of our retail business. We purchased a 12,000 foot building in July, 2022 and moved the running store to it’s present location. We also added a state-of-the-art indoor pickleball court with a covered outdoor court in the works. Between court rentals, lessons, clinics and round robins, pickleball has become a huge factor in our success. Players now come to our pro shop for their pickleball needs, then head onto our court to play with their new equipment! I have since started playing competitive pickleball and have qualified for the USA Pickleball National Championships as well as the USA Pickleball Diamond Amateur Championships. Running is still our “bread and butter” but pickleball is a wonderful accompaniment that we believe will only increase in the future.
