Julia is a 5th generation owner of Beck’s Shoes which originated in 1919 and has roots in Denmark in the 1800s. During her leadership, the chain has tripled to 24 stores over 5 states. Beck’s is listed as Inc Magazine’s top 5000 growing companies the last two years. She is on the Board of the National Shoe Retailer’s Association and is Chair of the Next Gen Committee. She has been a participant in the program for over 10 years and credits the program with her growth and success.
