Meghan is a trail ultra-marathon athlete on La Sportiva’s Mountain Running Team. Meghan has been running since she was 10 years old and competed in cross country in middle and high school. After five years of running recreationally, Meghan found a love for trail running in New Hampshire’s White Mountains while living in Boston after college. She began racing competitively in 2021 and moved to Boulder, CO later that same year to live in a place where trails and mountains were easily accessible. Most recently, Meghan placed 10th female at the 2023 Western States Endurance Run. Also in 2023, Meghan placed third at Black Canyon 100k, earning her golden ticket to Western States and won the Gorge 50k. When not running, Meghan is a Climate Finance Associate at the Rocky Mountain Institute where she focuses on decarbonizing the aviation sector through the lens of financial institutions. A career in climate change mitigation aligns with Meghan’s priorities of taking care of the natural world and living sustainably. Meghan is also an avid climber, skier, and artist.
