The Running Event Opens 2024 Call for Education

Individuals with an informative and timely idea are encouraged to submit a session proposal for 2024 speaking opportunities

PORTLAND, Maine (April 1, 2024) – The Running Event (TRE), North America’s premier specialty retail conference and trade show, is now accepting proposals for speaking opportunities at the 2024 event. The Running Event will take place November 19-21 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX.

“As always, our program will be built around the industry’s latest trends and will provide run and outdoor specialty retailers with targeted, actionable learnings,” said Caitlin Ewing, Conference Manager, TRE. “Education is one of the most valuable components of The Running Event, which means we’re looking for session proposals that not only offer relevant, useful education but also deliver innovation and fresh perspectives.”

The Call for Education supports TRE in developing a program that features new and diverse voices, experiences, roles, and expertise. Most speaking opportunities are within the 2024 conference program, with focus areas including leadership and executive insights, economics and market trends, advanced technology and applications, community building, DEI, sustainability, and more. Session formats include 45-minute individual and panel presentations as well as 45- and 90- minute workshops.

In addition to having a platform at the industry’s leading event, speakers will receive a complimentary registration pass, access to all onsite networking events, exposure across TRE’s digital channels and marketing initiatives, and coverage in Running Insight, the Official Publication of TRE.
