Kaylee Stone, LMSW, is a dedicated mental health professional and accomplished leader in the running industry, with a comprehensive background that bridges competitive athletics, business management, and clinical social work. A two-time graduate of Binghamton University, Kaylee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Health and Wellness Studies in 2021, followed by her Master of Social Work in 2023. As a Division I collegiate runner, she competed for six years—utilizing both a redshirt and COVID eligibility year—gaining first hand insight into the physical and psychological demands of high-level competition.
Kaylee began her professional journey in the running industry in 2017 during her freshman year of college. She now serves as the Regional Manager for Confluence Running, overseeing five retail locations across Upstate New York. Her role encompasses business development, team leadership, community engagement, and strategic operations, allowing her to stay closely connected to the sport and its evolving landscape.
In addition to her full-time leadership role, Kaylee practices part-time as a licensed mental health therapist specializing in sports social work. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, performance-related stress, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, she works with both adolescent and adult clients, with a particular passion for supporting athletes through the unique psychological challenges they face.
Kaylee’s dual expertise allows her to approach mental wellness with a deep understanding of the athlete identity and the intersection of physical performance and emotional health. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family.
