Kiera Smalls connects resources and opportunities to the people who need them most and has done this work in industries ranging from technology and entrepreneurship to health and fitness.
Known for her successful grassroots efforts, Kiera is the co-founder of Strides (formerly City Fit Girls) which empowers people to prioritize their physical and mental health through running, and the first Executive Director of the Running Industry Diversity Coalition.
Her past experience includes being Executive Director for Philly Startup Leaders, where she transformed the organization through a rebrand, launched an idea-stage accelerator to get new founders to the start line of building a business, and used the power of social media to secure over a half-million dollars in grants for BIPOC founders.
Kiera reminds us that the key ingredient to being a true steward of success is paying it forward. She believes that voices from all communities deserve a seat at the table. Even if that means building a bigger table.
