PORTLAND, Maine (May 23, 2023) – After its successful introduction at last year’s event, The Running Event (TRE), North America’s premier specialty retail conference and trade show, brings back Switchback at TRE to provide outdoor specialty retailers and brands with more space to connect, conduct business, and stay current with industry trends. TRE and Switchback at TRE will be held this November 28-30 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX.

An expansion of The Running Event exhibit hall, Switchback at TRE will be supported by outdoor-focused conference sessions and lively networking opportunities. Attendees will be empowered to source new business, build partnerships, access valuable education, and celebrate the industry. Uniting run and outdoor specialty retailers, brands, and thought leaders under one roof—at an optimal time of year—will redefine the outdoor and running industries and merge the two categories as consumer preferences continue to shape post-pandemic economies.
