Jason Hammel brings 33 years of retail experience and 17 years as a runner to his role as co-manager and Community Engagement Coordinator at Trailhead Running Supply. An RRCA-certified coach since 2019, Jason draws on his experience competing in events ranging from 5Ks to 100 miles (including one hard-earned Boston Marathon qualification), to help others chase their own unicorns. At Trailhead, he has helped build a vibrant trail-running community through events like Dirt Church, Rocky’s Relay, and the Trail Running Film Festival. Trailhead Running Supply was honored to be the inaugural host store and city for Ultrasignup’s Dirt Circus. Jason is passionate about creating events that bring people together, introduce more runners to the sport, and highlight the meaningful connections that can be found through the running community.
