As General Manager of The Running Well Store, she focuses on coaching, operational excellence, and fostering a collaborative culture that drives both metric focused results and employee growth. She is committed to helping people succeed, building strong community relationships, and leads with integrity, empathy, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Tommy O’Gorman
Retail Experience Manager, Fleet Feet Hartford

Tommy joined Fleet Feet Hartford in July 2019 as an Outfitter, where he quickly discovered a passion for helping people and delivering an exceptional customer experience through personalized footwear fittings. As his role evolved, he took on leadership of the store’s onboarding, product education, and staff development initiatives.

Today, Tommy oversees the development and implementation of Fleet Feet Hartford’s staff training, combining hands-on coaching with digital learning tools to create a comprehensive learning experience for new and existing team members. His focus is on equipping staff with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to provide outstanding customer service while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Kaylee Stone
Regional Manager, Confluence Running

Kaylee Stone, LMSW, is a dedicated mental health professional and accomplished leader in the running industry, with a comprehensive background that bridges competitive athletics, business management, and clinical social work. A two-time graduate of Binghamton University, Kaylee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Health and Wellness Studies in 2021, followed by her Master of Social Work in 2023. As a Division I collegiate runner, she competed for six years—utilizing both a redshirt and COVID eligibility year—gaining first hand insight into the physical and psychological demands of high-level competition.

Kaylee began her professional journey in the running industry in 2017 during her freshman year of college. She now serves as the Regional Manager for Confluence Running, overseeing five retail locations across Upstate New York. Her role encompasses business development, team leadership, community engagement, and strategic operations, allowing her to stay closely connected to the sport and its evolving landscape.

In addition to her full-time leadership role, Kaylee practices part-time as a licensed mental health therapist specializing in sports social work. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, performance-related stress, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, she works with both adolescent and adult clients, with a particular passion for supporting athletes through the unique psychological challenges they face.

Kaylee’s dual expertise allows her to approach mental wellness with a deep understanding of the athlete identity and the intersection of physical performance and emotional health. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family.

Matthew Gawors
CEO / Instructor, Running & Triathlon
Confluence Running / Binghamton University

Matthew Gawors holds an MBA in Leadership Studies and a BS in Entrepreneurship from Binghamton University. He is a seasoned professional with numerous certifications including the USATF Level 2 Certification (Jumping Specialty), Dynamic Footwear Specialist, Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, Triathlon Coach, and is an American Red Cross Instructor.

As an entrepreneur, Matthew is the Owner and CEO of Binghamton Health Campaign and manages multiple business ventures such as Confluence Running located in Binghamton, Corning, Middletown, and Watertown, as well as Ruthie’s Run of Lake Placid. He also oversees real estate through Confluence Plaza, LLC.

In academia, he has contributed to Binghamton University as the Coordinator of Running & Triathlon Studies and as the Aquatics Director for Health & Wellness Studies under the Decker School of Health Sciences. Matt has served in other public service roles including the Commissioner of Parks & Recreation and as the Executive Director of the Broome County Youth Bureau for Broome County Government.

Outside of his professional life, Matthew is an avid cyclist, runner, and triathlete. He cherishes family time with his 3-year-old daughter, who loves jumping on the trampoline and visiting the park, and his wife Jenna, who partners with him on his Run Specialty journey.
