Nominations Open for the Best Running Stores of 2024 Awards Program

Annual awards program to recognize top run specialty stores at The Running Event this November 21 in Austin, TX

PORTLAND, Maine (February 21, 2024) – Best Running Stores, the awards program that honors and celebrates leading run specialty stores in the US, today announced 2024 nominations are open. The annual awards reception will conclude The Running Event (TRE), taking place in Austin, TX, November 19-21, 2024.

“As always, our team is thrilled to begin the nomination process for the Best Running Stores of 2024,” said Christina Henderson, Event Director, The Running Event. “Every year, we see how important this program is not only to run specialty retailers, but to the entire industry. The positive impact these stores make goes far beyond the world of run specialty, and they deserve to be recognized and celebrated for the progress, innovation, and community they create. All are welcome and encouraged to nominate their favorite store for this special honor.”

Following a thorough evaluation and secret shop process, winners will be selected, notified, and announced publicly this July; the Store of the Year will be revealed live during the November 21 reception at TRE. All winning stores will receive two free passes to TRE, which include accommodations at a host hotel.

Industry professionals, brands, customers, and store employees are encouraged to nominate a run specialty shop that excels for their customer service, community impact, and industry leadership. Best Running Stores of 2024 nominations must be submitted by Thursday, March 21.
